1. Our Mission
Rekovr exists to reunite lost items with their owners. These Community Guidelines describe the behavior we expect from all users to keep the platform safe, trustworthy, and useful for everyone.
2. What's Allowed
- Posting accurate, honest descriptions of lost or found items.
- Communicating respectfully with other users.
- Reporting items that appear to be fraudulent or illegal.
3. What's Not Allowed
- Fraud: claiming items that don't belong to you, or pretending to have found items you don't possess.
- Illegal items: stolen goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, or any item whose possession or transfer is unlawful.
- Hate speech, harassment, or threats directed at other users.
- Personal data of third parties in item descriptions, photos, or messages without their consent.
- Spam, scams, or off-platform redirection attempting to bypass Rekovr's verification and payment flows.
4. Identification & Verification
To reduce fraud, Rekovr may ask for ownership verification, including descriptive questions or, for documents, automated matching. Refusing reasonable verification may prevent recovery.
5. Reporting & Enforcement
If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it through the in-app report feature or via our illegal content reporting page. Rekovr may remove content, suspend accounts, or report serious violations to the competent authorities.
