About Rekovr
We're building the global
lost & found network.
Every day, millions of items get lost — at airports, on taxis, in concerts, on the street. Most of them never make it back to their owners, not because no one found them, but because there's no system connecting the dots. We're fixing that.
Our mission
Reunite lost items with their owners — wherever they are, whoever found them. We believe the friction between losing something and recovering it should be near zero, and that doing the right thing (returning what isn't yours) should be effortless and rewarded.
What we're building
Rekovr is a single platform where individuals and organizations — airports, transport fleets, city councils, venues, hotels, universities — report what they've lost or found. Our AI matches them across the entire network using visual, semantic, and contextual signals, then verifies ownership before connecting the two parties.
No more siloed lost & found boxes. No more "we'll call you back". No more lost wallets ending up in landfill because the airport couldn't reach the owner.
Why now
Two things changed in the last few years: image and language AI got good enough to compare a fuzzy "I lost a black leather wallet near gate B12" against a photo taken by a cleaner three hours later — and the cost of that comparison dropped to almost nothing. The technology is finally there to do at planetary scale what was previously a human, manual, and frankly hopeless job.
Who we are
Rekovr is built by a small, focused team based in Barcelona. We come from engineering, product, and operations backgrounds, and we've spent years building software at the intersection of consumer apps and B2B platforms. We're keeping the team deliberately small while we partner with our first pilot organizations.

Where we're going
Right now we're in private beta with a handful of pioneer organizations. Our short-term focus: prove that the network model works in the wild, refine AI matching and ownership verification with real data, and lock in the workflows that big operators (airports, councils, fleets) actually need.
Longer term: physical-digital products that bridge the gap between a tagged item and its digital identity on Rekovr, and partnerships that turn the platform into the default infrastructure for lost & found — public and private.
